Bournemouth midfielder Tyler Adams (26) has withdrawn from the U.S. men’s national team squad ahead of their November friendlies against Paraguay and Uruguay due to a head injury.

The injury occurred early in Bournemouth’s Premier League match against Aston Villa, when Adams collided head-to-head with his teammate Adam Smith. Despite appearing dazed, Adams was cleared by medical staff and went on to play the full 90 minutes.

U.S. Soccer confirmed his withdrawal, citing “injuries suffered in their club matches this past weekend.” (Source: Bournemouth Daily Echo)
