AFC Bournemouth have confirmed that midfielder Lewis Cook suffered an MCL injury during last weekend’s pre-season friendly against Bristol City.
Fortunately, the injury will not require surgery, but Cook is expected to miss the beginning of the 2025/26 season.
He has remained with the squad in Chicago and will begin his rehabilitation there, with the full support of the club’s medical staff throughout his recovery process. (Source: Bournemouth)
