Bukayo Saka
Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka (23) was forced off today after suffering what manager Mikel Arteta described as a “significant” left hamstring injury, sustained during Arsenal’s 5-0 win over Leeds United. The winger picked up the issue in a sprint during the second half—he had scored earlier but was visibly uncomfortable and handed off the captain’s armband as he walked off the pitch.
Arteta confirmed that Saka will undergo a scan tomorrow to determine the extent of the injury. Worryingly, this concern follows a long absence last season due to hamstring surgery on the other leg—making this latest setback particularly alarming
🎙️| Mikel Arteta “I haven’t spoken to the doctor yet but for Bukayo to come off, it’s significant,” ... “He felt something while he was sprinting. That’s never a good sign. We’ll have to wait tomorrow. But he’s had these injuries before. He knows exactly the feeling of that. So let’s wait¨. (Source: The Times)

It is on the other side. “He felt something, so he will be out for a couple of weeks. “I don’t know [if he will be involved after the international break]. Let’s see how he evolves in the next few days, few weeks. Repeat the scan and see where he’s at.” (Source: Arsenal)
