Declan Rice

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice (26) was forced off the field late in the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace after picking up a knock that troubled him from the first half.

Mikel Arteta confirmed in his post-match press conference that Rice was “struggling with a knock that he took from the first half” and noted he cannot yet specify whether the issue is with his calf, Achilles or another area.

The manager added that he didn’t have a full diagnosis: “With Declan I don’t really know because it was a knock, whether it was the calf or the Achilles or whatever it was.”
