Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli (24) is being assessed after picking up a knock during the Carabao Cup victory over Crystal Palace, forcing him off in the 59th minute. Mikel Arteta confirmed the Brazilian felt discomfort following the challenge and was unable to continue in the second half. The issue is not believed to be serious at this stage, but Martinelli will undergo further evaluation in the coming days to determine whether he can recover in time for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Brighton.
