Arsenal's central defender Gabriel Magalhães (27), was forced to leave the pitch due to injury during the Premier League match against Fulham. Around the 15th minute, Gabriel appeared to injure his hamstring while sprinting back during a Fulham counter-attack. He immediately clutched the back of his thigh before falling to the ground. Despite attempting to continue by defending a corner with a noticeable limp, he was ultimately substituted off, with Jakub Kiwior coming on as his replacement.

He will undergo the procedure in the coming days and begin rehab, aiming to return for the start of next season. The club is fully supporting his recovery. (Source: Arsenal)

Asked after Arsenal’s 1-0 friendly defeat against Tottenham in Hong Kong whether there was any risk of them missing the match against Manchester United on August 21, Arteta told reporters: “I don’t think so.
