Xavi Simons
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Xavi Simons (22) has been handed a three-match suspension after being sent off in the 33rd minute against Liverpool. Initially booked for the challenge, the decision was upgraded to a straight red card following a VAR review, ruling his offense as violent conduct after clipping Virgil van Dijk’s ankle. As a result, Simons will miss upcoming fixtures against Crystal Palace, Brentford, and Sunderland, leaving Spurs without a key attacking option until early January. He is expected to return to action for the clash against Bournemouth on 7 January. (Source: Tottenham Hotspur)
