Tottenham Hotspur forward Bryan Gil (24) is set to miss several months of action after undergoing surgery on his right knee, following a serious injury sustained in March 2025 while on loan at Girona.
Gil suffered a lateral ligament injury to his right knee during a La Liga match at Girona in mid-March. Girona’s coach confirmed that Gil would see Dr. Cugat for assessment, with surgery the likely outcome. Indeed, he underwent the procedure shortly thereafter, effectively ending his season.
The operation addressed damage to the meniscus and the external ligament, and Girona confirmed the winger would spend 4–5 months in recovery. (Source: The Spurs Express)
