Beyer marked his long-awaited return during a behind-closed-doors pre-season friendly against Fleetwood Town on 12 July 2025 but now suffered a small setback in his long road back from injury. Likely to be out for a few weeks. (Source: Matt Scrafton, Burnley Express)

Update Tuesday 30 Septemeber 2025

Despite featuring briefly in pre-season, Beyer required further surgery after cartilage detached in his knee and caused complications. Now, after 21 months of frustration, he says he is close to being “back to full throttle.”

However, Burnley have not included him in their 25-man Premier League squad, meaning he cannot play until at least January 2026. (Source: Matt Scrafton, Burnley Express)

Update Tuesday 23 December 2025

🎙️|Scott Parker: “Jordan as well, he’s picked up a little bit over the last few weeks on the grass, but we just need to tread carefully with Jordan, just with the history of what he's been through, so that one may be a bit slower as well.” (Source: Matt Scrafton, Burnley Express)
