Merlin Röhl - hip/groin
Everton midfielder Merlin Röhl (23) missed Saturday’s Merseyside derby against Liverpool due to a minor hip/groin injury. The German, who joined the Blues on a season-long loan from Freiburg, was a surprise absentee from the squad, but manager David Moyes confirmed the setback is not serious. Röhl, who has the versatility to operate across several midfield positions, made his debut as a substitute against Aston Villa last week. While his absence was felt in terms of squad depth, Everton expect him to return to action soon and continue integrating into his new side (Source: Liverpool Echo).
