Sunderland defender Omar Aldrete (28) will miss Saturday’s Premier League clash against Chelsea after suffering a head injury that has placed him under concussion protocols. Manager Régis Le Bris confirmed that Alderete will not be available for the trip to Stamford Bridge.

Alderete has been ruled out of the upcoming match against Arsenal and Paraguay’s international fixtures after continuing to suffer symptoms from a concussion. Despite initially testing negative in recent medical examinations, he has not yet fully recovered and will remain sidelined (Source: Sunderland AFC News And Banter Page)
