George Earthy - ankle
West Ham United midfielder George Earthy (20) has suffered an ankle ligament injury that will keep him sidelined for several weeks, throwing a wrench into the club's midfield plans ahead of the new Premier League season.
The talented youngster sustained the injury during training just as the squad was preparing for their pre-season tour of the United States. As a result, Earthy was withdrawn from the travelling group, missing out on a crucial opportunity to impress manager Julen Lopetegui ahead of the 2025–26 campaign.
The injury is not considered long-term, but it is serious enough to rule Earthy out for approximately 3–4 weeks. His recovery will be closely monitored by West Ham’s medical staff, with hopes that he can return to full fitness before the Premier League opener in mid-August. (Source: Claret & Hugh)
Checking West Hams bench hoping for George Earthy to be able to come on, only to find out he has an ankle ligament injury. Man. Damn shame for him, could have really impressed on this tour.
