Wilfried Gnonto - calf
Leeds United forward Wilfried Gnonto (22) is edging closer to a full return after an extended spell on the sidelines. Daniel Farke confirmed that Gnonto, who had been dealing with calf problems and also underwent minor hernia surgery, has now completed two full weeks of training. Despite this progress, the Leeds manager chose not to risk him in their recent match against Nottingham Forest, preferring to give the Italian a little more time to recover properly.
Farke explained that Gnonto’s rehabilitation has been like “a little pre-season” due to the length of his absence. The winger’s last appearance for Leeds came on 13 September, when he featured as a late substitute against Fulham. However, Farke is optimistic and indicated that Gnonto should be fully ready once the team returns to action after the international break (Source: Vodacom Soccer)
