Bashir Humphreys
Burnley defender Bashir Humphreys (22) has provided a positive update on his recovery from a quad injury that sidelined him for the final three months of the club’s promotion-winning campaign.
The injury, initially expected to be minor, turned out more serious than first thought. However, after a focused rehab period at Gawthorpe alongside teammate Jordan Beyer, Humphreys has reported encouraging progress, saying he’s had “positive scans” and is “feeling good.” He expects to be fit in time for the start of Burnley’s 2025/26 Premier League season, with hopes of featuring in pre-season.
