Burnley defender Joe Worrall (28) missed the club’s 0-0 draw due to a training-ground injury picked up shortly before the match. Manager Scott Parker revealed it was a “little niggle” and a late decision to rule him out, with the setback arriving just as Worrall was working his way back after previous time out of the squad. Fortunately for Burnley, the issue is believed to be minor, and the centre-back could return soon if his recovery progresses as expected.
