Burnley defender Jordan Beyer (25) is on the mend following a serious knee injury sustained in December 2023, and he has now made a significant step in his recovery.

Update Tuesday 30 Septemeber 2025

Despite featuring briefly in pre-season, Beyer required further surgery after cartilage detached in his knee and caused complications. Now, after 21 months of frustration, he says he is close to being “back to full throttle.”

However, Burnley have not included him in their 25-man Premier League squad, meaning he cannot play until at least January 2026. (Source: Matt Scrafton, Burnley Express)
