Newcastle United winger Anthony Elanga (23) missed the Boxing Day clash against Manchester United after suffering a knock late in the 2–2 draw with Chelsea. Despite finishing that match, the Sweden international was deemed not fit enough to be risked, with Newcastle confirming the injury and wishing him a speedy recovery.
