Nottingham Forest confirmed Williams did not travel with the first team to Asia for their pre-season tour due to the ankle issue. While described as a “frustrating” setback, Forest's medical staff view it as a minor injury, hopeful he’ll be fit for pre-season training in July (source: Nottingham Post).
