Manchester City attacking midfielder Claudio Echeverri (19) suffered a twisted ankle injury during his Club World Cup debut for the club and is likely to miss the rest of the tournament (source: Reuters).
Echeverri scored a stunning free‑kick in Manchester City’s 6–0 win over Al Ain (23 june), marking his first goal for the club in what was his full debut at the tournament. However, he was substituted at half-time due to an ankle problem.
