Reiss Nelson

6 December 2025 by Thomas Anderson

Brentford winger Reiss Nelson (26) missed Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Tottenham after picking up a minor knock in last weekend’s match against Burnley. Manager Keith Andrews confirmed that the injury prevented Nelson from being available, though the issue is not believed to be serious.

Nelson has now sat out Brentford’s last two fixtures, and the club will monitor his recovery over the coming week to determine whether he can return for the next match. While his absence is a relatively small setback given his limited minutes this season—appearing only three times off the bench—Brentford will still hope to have him back soon as squad depth becomes increasingly important during the busy winter stretch (Source The Standard).

“He should be in and around [being] available for Sunday. We’ll see how it goes over the next few days.”
