Head coach Marco Silva confirmed the news in his post-match press conference, revealing that the Danish centre-back “felt something” in his hamstring and will undergo further tests to determine the severity.
“Joachim has a hamstring injury,” Silva said. “He felt something. Now it’s just a matter of time to know if it’s something more serious or a minor injury. We’ll know more after the medical exams in the next few days.” (Source: FourFourTwo)
