Vitaliy Mykolenko - groin knock
Everton defender Vitaliy Mykolenko (26) was forced off the field with an injury just 10–12 minutes into the club’s final pre-season friendly against AS Roma on 9 August. He appeared to suffer a groin knock, which caused him to limp off and be replaced early in the match—raising serious doubts about his availability for Everton’s Premier League opener against Leeds United on 18 August (Source ToffeeWeb).
Far and away the most positive thing to come out of a pretty underwhelming final friendly. Just reinforced what a good signing he is. Saw some nice things from Barry, Ndiaye was class at times even playing at 50% of how good we know he can be. Mykolenko injury is a huge worry tho https://t.co/5TkIUQQ3vi
