Update Saturday 23 August

Maghoma misses the match against Aston Villa has been unavailable since the end of last season due to that same hamstring injury, which also prevented him from joining the team’s pre-season tour in Portugal. After completing rehabilitation and a full week of training, he may now be available for selection soon.

Update Thursday 28 August

Maghoma completed a positive week of training with the squad. The midfielder still has to build his fitness having missed pre-season training. (Source: Brentford)
